Some more recent information from RTA’s Fb group tech support. Access to the website is still a problem for RTA as the conflict in their region continues unabated. This is severely effecting internet access and also household electricity. We can only hope this stupid war ends as soon as possible so things can go back to some sort of normality. Wishing everyone a great Christmas and a happy new year, on behalf of RTA I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these difficult times.

Changes that will be made before December 31, 2024
Any RTA client from November 20 to December 24 will be able to make a request for a Christmas gift. Please note that for those who made a request last year, but for some reason did not receive a gift in 2023, can receive both gifts at once.
(we do this in advance so that you receive gifts in your mega folders on December 25)

Understand the frustration but the countries RTA reside in are currently at war. This is making things somewhat difficult as there is limited internet access and also limited power. Seeing as most of us have probably never experienced being stuck in a war zone we don’t know what’s going on or how difficult life might be on a daily basis. This is what has complicated something that was problematic to begin with. They have stated they are trying to address the issue but it’s not going too well at the moment it would seem.

No problems mate, figured it made sense to post here as not everyone is on fb etc and they need to know what’s going on. Pretty crappy situation but not much we can do about it.

Any news on this or any of the other trucks listed in the special VIP list:? 409, W900, ltl900? Any chance that some of us VIP clients might ever get access to them? I know there’s a lot going on in the world currently it’s just a lot of us have been looking forward to these for quite a few years now. Would be nice to see them eventually.

Hard to say what might be causing it without seeing the gamelog. The gamelog should tell you why the game is crashing or at least give you some idea on where to start fixing. If you don’t know where it is, it’s in your documents/american truck simulator folder. The last part of the log is where you should find the error/s that are causing the crash. If all the parts for the mod are present and active then the gamelog is the only way to find out. It could be a mod conflict or something but only guessing.

The flags go on the trailer, not the truck. The truck uses an oversize sign.

Also, the usual forum navigation isn’t working correctly. When I use the address at the top of the forums window there is no return to root of forum. Just a home link which takes you back the the main home page where you then have to scroll down to get back to the forums. It’s a bit annoying to be honest.

The offer still stands if RTA would like to add these cabs to a future update. I don’t want anything in return, I am not after money.

SCS changed a whole bunch of crap over the last few patches. Not trying to be smart but have you got the sound .scs files for those trucks in the mod folder and active? They may need to be placed above the truck in the mod manager to work.

They may or may not work in the current game version, sorry didn’t have time to check.

Hi, I know everything is changing but I was wondering if a couple of things could be added to the 108 in some future update. Was hoping for a 2.3 and 2.8 flat roof cab variant. Have done edits for myself so I can send them if it helps. Thanks.

The only way any of us can help is to know what’s in your gamelog. Any errors are listed in there and would give a much better idea of what is falling over and why. It may be a conflict with another mod or something but without knowing what errors the game is throwing it is extremely difficult to pinpoint the issue.

This is a good question. The template appears to be missing from the mod files, any chance of having one posted so we can paint it please?

Never had any issues with mods or updates with RTA. They get sent without even asking to my Mega folder, this is what VIP gets you. As stated above, if you are not a VIP customer then you will need to request an update.
