I’ve been on the ATS and ETS2 betas since release. I can tell you that we are closer to the end than the beginning of that beta.
Signals from SCS of the last couple of days could indicate that 1.40 is near public release.

Just as an FYI, when I started the ATS beta I simply carried on with the same profile. It didn’t crash the game, everything just looked weird.
Starting a new profile (ie. destroying the entire ATS docs folder after backup)  offers a game looking better than ever.
RTA trucks look fabulous. I can’t explain it exactly, but the game looks far less arcade and far more sim.
There are also a LOT of bug/map fixes in 1.40 as well.
[edit] I think can say with reasonable confidence that with ATS, at least, the total updates for 1.40 open beta will top 3Gb once it’s over.

Anyway, shouldn’t be too long now. The update page here shows all trucks ready for 1.40 now.

A week ago I get the status “Update sent” for the ETS update, but I miss the files. Also for the Mack SL. Please someone check this. Thanks!
