I have followed steps in this link https://rta-mods.net/en/modding/modding-rta/ets-studio but my skins wont show up in game, also tried to do add vehicle from mod and got nothing.

Not sure why skinning for rta mods gotta be so hard…

You need four things:
– An image editor that supports layers and able to save to DDS format.
Since release of Paint.NET 4.2.11 in May 2020, Paint.net supports all formats of DDS files natively. And the app is free.

– A uv-template for the vehicle
Most RTA models come with this file. One exception is PB 379.

– a TOBJ Editor
You can get it here: https://github.com/MatthijsdeGoede/TOBJEditor/releases

 

 

 

– An imagination
Everyone got one of those.
